Ellie Wilde's Fierce Fuchsia Styles
Happy Tuesday, friends! As we all know, we are in the middle of homecoming season and we have loved seeing our Formal Approach girls rock their looks so far! While many have already happened, the season is far from over. So, we rounded up some of our favorite looks from Ellie Wilde to help you on your dream dress journey! Ellie Wilde has SO many fabulous gowns, but today we wanted to chat about one of our fav colors: fuchsia!
Fuchsia is always a go-to color for us when we are styling in store, because it is such a gorgeous hue and can work for events in any season. To get started, let’s look at Ellie Wilde’s style EW122014. This gorgeous a-line gown has a little bit of everything going on, and we could not love it more! It features a sweetheart neckline with thin straps, while the bodice is fully adorned with lace that flows onto the skirt. The skirt is fully crafted from tulle that creates a fabulous shape and features a high slit. The back of this one has criss crossing straps and is topped off with a small bow embellishment.
This next look is one of our all-time Ellie Wilde favorites; it is style EW122101. This look is more on the sleek side, and the fit is just next level. The neckline is a plunging v-neckline with strappy details. The entire look is adorned with intricate embroidery, lace, and subtle sparkles. The gown has a tulle top layer that really helps these details pop throughout. It also features trendy side cutouts, complete with sheer panels. The silhouette is absolutely top notch with a structured bodice and a stunning horsehair hem for added shape.
Lastly on our fuchsia homecoming tour is Ellie Wilde’s style EW122032. This gown is a real head-turner and we are swooning. The neckline is a pretty scoop shape, strappy shoulder details and a structured bodice. The skirt is super fitted with a mermaid silhouette, sleek through the hips and then flows out in a fabulous mermaid skirt. The entire look is adorned with embroidered patterns from top to bottom.
