Halloween is right around the corner; do you have your costume together?! Whether you are going to a holiday party, or just staying in, it is so fun to get dressed up! Costumes do not have to be a big hassle, you can typically find random pieces in your closet to turn into your outfit and then hair and makeup go a long way! Let’s chat about a few makeup ideas that you can easily accomplish at home to get in the spooky spirit!
One new Halloween makeup trend that we have seen lately is a clown. Not like a brightly colored clown, but one that is created with lots of black makeup - it gives you a really fierce look! All you have to do is add some triangle shapes around your eyes with black, your eye lid can be anything you want and then also add some detailing around your mouth for extra drama!
Scarecrows are another super easy costume idea! All you need is a flannel, some ripped jeans and maybe a straw hat! Complete your costume with some random stitches on your face and nose; we typically suggest using eye liner for these details! Make your cheeks a little peachy, and top the look off with dark lips and a few freckles.
Another easy Halloween look is to be a cat or some kind of animal like that. You can just do your makeup with a smoky eye and dark eye liner to start. Then paint the bottom of your nose, and top lip black. Add on whiskers and some cat ears and you will be ready to slay!
